My time: 1 hour 49 minutes! That's a 8:19m pace! Thanks goes to Jake and Mindy - I couldn't have done it without them!

Monterey

We went to Monterey for Presidents Day. It was a really quick, fun trip. We left after church on Sunday and just hung out at the hotel and then went to the aquarium and beach on Monday. We had a TON of fun. Even though it was rainy, it was beautiful! Jake was going to take his board to go surfing but it didn't work out to go....it made him miss SD though so we're trying to plan a trip to go back. :)

Kallie's favorite part was splashing in the puddles! We went with our friends that have an adorable little boy, Liam, who is 4. They could've spent all day in the puddles....they were SOAKING wet by the time we got back to the car!

Jace's Baby Blessing

So we decided to bless Jace in Utah over the holidays so all of our family could be there. It was so awesome cause my grandfather blessed my niece on the same day!

Jake comes from a family with 11 kids and there are 10 in mine. Getting everyone together can be quite an event! Luckily, my sweet sister offered to host the lunch afterward at her beautiful and spacious home. It was an amazing blessing and I am so grateful to have a husband who is a worthy priesthood holder. We are so blessed to have two healthy and happy children. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for all that he has given me....seriously, I couldn't ask for more.

This was the best family photo we got....you all know how Kallie LOVES to take pictures. She's so photogenic - I wish she would cooperate more often.

my very first post....

I finally started a blog....yay! I don't know how much I'll keep up on it - but I promise to try. It's a great way to keep in touch with all our loved ones. I guess for my first post I'll put a few pics of us over the past few months....it's been busy with the birth of Jace, lots of family visiting, and a two week trip to Utah for Christmas. FUN FUN!
